Cheese Making Workshop

Like the smell of hot whey in the morning? The feeling of warm curds between your fingers? You could be a cheesemaker! Explore the beautiful blend of science and art that is artisan cheesemaking with cheese-pros Rory Stamp (Shelburne Farms) and Rosy Neale (Jasper Hill Farm). They'll take you through the basics of home cheesemaking with a hands-on demonstration of Butter, Chevre, Ricotta, and Mozzarella, plus a discussion (and tasting) of some more advanced styles and techniques. Learn about commercial farmstead cheesemaking in Vermont, and take home the fruits of your labor and the recipes to replicate these cheeses at home!
