The Food of Naples: Italian Provincial Cooking


Diane Manteca is on a quest to give you a hands-on, insider's lesson of Italy's authentic recipes and techniques right here in Boston! Naples is known for its famous pizza, but that only scratches the surface. The food of Naples embraces its beautiful coastline and bountiful seafood, it's history of products like Mozzarella Di Bufula, and some of the greatest tomatoes found anywhere on the planet. You'll learn to produce recipes like - Mozzarella Impanata (Breaded Mozzarella), Maccheroni alla Marinara, Sacicce e Cacciatore (Sausage, Hunters Style), and Crostata alla Napolitana for Dessert.
