CourseGraphic So you have a fancy new camera. Now what? Learn what those buttons and dials mean, and do! Using a combination of hands-on exercises and presentations, this class will explore some of the automatic and manual features of your digital camera and learn how to use them to make the pictures you want.

The class will cover both the technical aspects of picture-taking as well as the creative, including composition and editing.
To get the most out of this course, participants should own one of the following:

DSLR (Digital Single Lens Reflex) (ex. Nikon D3100, Canon T3i)
ILS/C (Interchangeable Lens System/Camera) (ex. Sony Alfa NEX-6, Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH2)
Micro Four-Thirds (ex. Olympus OM-D E-M5)
High-functioning point-and-shoot (a camera that includes settings such as P (Program), S/Tv (Shutter) and A/Av (Aperture), (ex. Canon G-Series, Nikon P7700)

It is advisable to bring your camera's manual as well, as all cameras are different! Here's to happy shooting!
