Andi Freedman, founder of Mind Over Food, is a licensed psychotherapist and a certified Cognitive Behavioral Therapist (CBT). Her passion for health, nutrition and fitness, along with her CBT training is the perfect combination for helping people reach their weight loss and wellness goals. Her approach focuses on HOW to eat instead of what to eat. Andi uses “Cognitive Coaching” to change people’s THINKING about food and eating.
Andi is a licensed social worker, certified cognitive-behavioral therapist and a diplomate with the Academy of Cognitive Therapy. She has been teaching Mind Over Food Workshops in the greater Boston area for 4 years. She also teaches a Cognitive-Behavioral Approach to Weight Loss class at Boston University for the School of Social Work Professional Education Program.
