Denise Mickilowski

Denise was born in NYC and started her art career early and attended the High School of Art and Design. She received her BFA from Tyler School of Art, Temple U. After Tyler, she worked as an art restorer for 12 years at LOWY in NYC. She decided to return to graduate school and came to Boston and received her MFA from Boston University. She represented by two galleries: Arden Gallery, Boston, MA and Fischbach Gallery, New York. She has taught at University of New Hampshire, Boston Architectural Center, The Danforth Museum School, and currently at The Boston Center for Adult Education and Cambridge Center for Adult Education. Her work can be seen in a new book “100 Boston Painters” by Chawky Frenn; Schiffer Publishing, 2012.
