Emily is a self-taught home cook who impatiently awaits apple-picking season, lunchtime, and cheese coming to room temperature. At Tufts she completed a masters in Food Policy and Applied Nutrition and currently works in public health focusing on childhood obesity prevention. Seeking a respite from the serious topics of her day job Emily began writing a food blog in 2014. That hobby opened the door to several successful partnerships with local artisan makers. It was through conversations and collaborations with this community that the concept for Small Batch Daily was hatched. In addition to her food blog Emily has also written for Edible Cape Cod and Culture Magazine: The Word on Cheese.
