Gibson House Museum

The Gibson House Museum is a National Historic Landmark. A time capsule of the late-nineteenth to mid-twentieth centuries domestic life, the Gibson House Museum reflects four generations of an upper middle-class family in Boston’s Back Bay. The house offers a rare opportunity to view four floors of a tasteful yet ornate townhouse with black-walnut woodwork, elegant wallpapers, imported carpets, and an abundance of furniture, paintings, sculpture, photographs, silver, porcelain, curios, and much more.
