John Shea is a Boston based playwright with a MFA in Creative Writing/Playwrighting from Boston University. His work has been included in the National Playwright’s Conference at the Eugene O’Neill Theatre Center. His play, “Erin Go Bragh-less”, was named distinguished production by the 2013 Kennedy Center’s American College Theatre Festival. As a playwrighting fellow with Boston’s Huntington Theatre Company, John was commissioned by the Stanford Calderwood Fund for New American Plays. Other works have been produced by Boston University, Boston Playwright’s Theatre and Argos Productions. John’s work has also appeared in festivals across the country and in London.
