Lauren Friel

Lauren Friel is an award-winning sommelier living in Boston. In 2015, she left a decade-long restaurant career to focus on spreading the good wine gospel off the dining room floor. She now runs VinDrop, a unique wine education and consulting service, in addition to populating a little corner of the Internet with irreverent wine things via her column, “Like Water For Chefs,” on ChefsFeed. She’s as enthusiastic about Baga as she is about Barolo – and even happier when she gets the chance to teach about them.
