Susanne Carpenter began her professional career as a technical account manager in the software industry. She realized after a decade that she was in the wrong line of work. Baking was her real forte! After baking for family and friends at home her entire life and briefly working at a local bakery in Milford, NH, she enrolled in the Professional Pastry Chef’s Diploma program at The Cambridge School of Culinary Arts, studying under Master Pastry Chef Delphin Gomes.
Post graduation, she went on to work at Finesse Pastries in Manchester, NH and is now currently making plans to start her own baking/catering business. This past Spring, Susanne had the pleasure of being invited to participate in an episode of Martha Stewart’s Martha Bakes program. Susanne lives in southern NH with her husband and two teenage children. Her other passion besides baking is running. Her training runs and many races (including 5 marathons) allow her to indulge in the many treats she develops any given week!
