Prior to joining Committee, Tsilipanos worked in some of the hottest kitchens in the city, such as at L’Espalier under the helm of his mentor Chef James Hackney. Theo has also held positions at Sel de la Terre, Cape Cod’s Wequassett Resort, and La Brasa. Theo Tsilipanos brings over 18 years of experience and momentous knowledge of authentic Greek cuisine to the kitchen at Committee. Modeled after a modern-day ouzeri, Committee’s menu of fresh, seasonal fare allows guests to enjoy the best of Greek cooking while connecting with one another in a vibrant setting. Tsilipanos fully embraces this concept as a native of Greece’s Lamia city. Tsilipanos is responsible for the development and execution of creative dishes in his role as Chef de Cuisine and looks forward to flexing his chops in a Greek kitchen once again. He brings a variety of traditional recipes to Committee which incorporate a slight influence from various cuisines around the world.
