Brighten up your painting with acrylics! Acrylic paints offer a rich range of colors, all of which are non-toxic and quick drying. Learn to paint with acrylics and practice various principles, techniques, and elements of design. In-class assignments will focus on practicing the concepts discussed. At the end of the course, you’ll have multiple paintings on paper to take home, as well as a final painting on canvas that will bring together everything learned throughout the course.

Please bring to the first class:

• a 9″x12″ pad of 140 lb watercolor paper (this type of paper is great for practicing acrylics!)
• one 11″x14″ primed canvas
• a set of basic colors (red, orange, yellow, blue, green, purple, brown, and white)
• some brushes
• a palette
