Welcome to the world of dumplings! The Chinese aren’t alone in their love for dumplings. The Polish have pierogies, and Italians have ravioli, tortellini; there are Jewish kreplach and Korean mandu, Indian samosas and South American empanadas…
In this class, we’ll focus on wontons using store-bought wrappers. Then, we’ll make and roll our own wrappers and cook them in three different ways: boiled, steamed, and pan-fried then steamed (potstickers). Throughout, we’ll master several different folds and enjoy a feast of dumplings!
We’ll have shrimp, pork, and veggie options for fillings.
