Food Basics: Sauté


Get out of the fire and into the frying pan! Come learn to sauté, one of the most integral cooking techniques in the modern kitchen. Chef Lars Liebisch is here to get you hands-on, frying up a storm, so you no longer fear the sear. The similar technique of stir-frying will also be covered in this class, so you'll be well-prepared for any cuisines from west to east. You'll prepare dishes like Sautéed Shrimps with Scallions & Crispy Potatoes, Vegetable Sauté with Sweet & Sour Sauce, Chicken Stir Fry with Pineapple & Scallions, Pork Chops with Sautéed Apples, and Sautéed Mushrooms with Balsamic Vinegar Glaze. (Menu subject to market availability)
